A Slip Ring can be used in any electromechanical system that requires unrestrained, intermittent or continuous rotation while transferring power. A slip ring is also called a rotary electrical joint, collector or swivel. A slip ring can improve system performance by simplifying operation and eliminating damage prone wires. This Solid Shaft Hybrid Slip Ring is designed to mount on the end of a rotating shaft and make electrical connections to strain gauges, thermocouples or other sensors that have been installed on rotating equipment.
